magsim (2x3GHz HT Xeon, 2GB RAM, Intel netcard), under
load with 1 matlab and sometimes Xvnc and saber.

penguin (1x2.8GHz HT p4, 1GB RAM, Broadcom netcard), no
other load.

Made random (urandom) file, 400000*1024 Bytes, in /dev/shm 
on magsim.  Copying with scp to penguin /dev/shm gave only
25GB/s, with attempt at full CPU use (encryption bottleneck).
Using ftp server on magsim, got reliably (within a few %):
	magsim -> penguin
	409600000 bytes received in 4.25 secs (9.4e+04 Kbytes/sec)
	penguin -> magsim
	409600000 bytes sent in 3.52 secs (1.1e+05 Kbytes/sec)
